Putting your Past to death

Twice God said to Joshua, Moses is dead. He was telling Joshua your past is dead, the days of wandering are over. I have called you to be a possessor not a wanderer. Every place you step is yours. God had to change the mentality of the Israelite's before they could go into the promise land. To posses the land they had to go in as possessors, with the mentality this is my promise and you are not going to steal it. Are you a wanderer or a possessor? Are you still wandering around in your past, Or are you possessing the promises of today? The choice is yours.
