I woke up this morning to the sound of birds singing and day just starting to break. The scripture came into my mind about joy in the morning. In Psalms 30, it speaks of a long dark night, weeping that never seems to stop! When your soul is alone and drained, when nothing makes sense! Maybe you feel abandoned by God, or maybe that He’s mad at you, maybe you have really messed up! Here’s good news, it says His anger is but for a moment but His favor is for a lifetime! Talk to Him, He wants to turn your weeping into joy! It’s a new day! He is restoring joy in the midst of a long dark trial, His handkerchief is wiping your eyes now and saying, I love you, get up and go be a blessing to someone else who is going through a dark night.
