The resurrection of Jesus Christ is one of the foundations upon which Christianity is built. (1 Cor. 15:3, 4) HIS resurrection was the crowning achievement that forever separates Him from any other religious leader who has ever been or will ever live. No other religious figure in history has ever prophesied His own death and resurrection—and then accomplished it. The fact that Jesus rose from the dead is fundamental to our faith. Paul said, “Our Preaching and Faith is in vain if He had not Risen, man would still be in sin and no resurrection for dead saints. (1 Cor. 15: 14 -18) Also, our justification requires His Resurrection (Rom. 4:25) His Resurrection confirms HE is God. (Matt. 27:63) and fulfilled Old Testament prophecy. (Psalm 16:10, 11 & Isaiah 53:12) His Resurrection confirms His second coming (1 Thessalonians 4:14)
