In Psalms 10; it says “ oh Lord why do you stand afar off, why do you hide yourself in times of trouble? Sometimes it seems like He is a million miles away, and so uninvolved in our dilemma, but take courage, He is right there, as close as your breath. There are times when He is so close you can actually feel His presence, and then there are times that He has hidden Himself. Why? You may be asking; I believe that He longs for us to seek Him and run after Him more closely. It’s like He is is standing in the shadows or the wings watching us, knowing every concern, but stands quietly! As humans, we want to grasp hold of something tangible, to see it , to feel it to have that surety, yet He stands afar off. I encourage you today to get away and seek Him, turn off the busyness of life , and focus on finding Him. He is right there ,but He says “run after me with your whole mind ,body, soul and spirit! It’s like a beautiful romance story; the man will pursue the love of his life and won’t let nothing stop him from finding her. Lay everything aside in these coming days and pursue Him. As trouble surrounds you today, call on Him, and whisper that beautiful name. He is waiting, He will never leave you nor forsake you.
